Dr Somjet

Associate Professor Dr. Somjet  Poosri

I am pleased to introduce myself as the Chairman of Governance Board of Silver Fern International School. My name is Associate Professor Dr. Somjet  Poosri. I have achieved my B.A. in Physical Education, earned my M.A. in Physical Education and attained my M.A. in Education Administration. I received my Ed.D. in Education Management at the University of Baguio, Philippines.
I am currently the Chairman of the University Council of Petchaboon Rajabhat University. I served as the president of Rajabhat Institute Maha Sarakham from 2002-2003 and continued in my role as president from 2004-2013 when the institute became Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University.
I feel as though we have a great group on the Board and I am very excited to be working with them. I would like to thank and commend the outgoing members of Silver Fern International School for their dedication in promoting the prosperity of this institution. Thank you very much.

Mrs. Suksamran Kulsuwan 

Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) from Buriram Rajabhat University.
Hello. My name is Suksamran Kulsuwan. I am very proud that Silver Fern International School is licensed by the Thai Ministry of Education and especially having this school located in Roi-Et, my home town. Our School is the first, and only, International School in this province. Silver Fern International School offers a high quality of education to our students by internationally experienced, qualified teachers.

Chakrapong Suriyawanakul (Jack)

Hi! I’m Jack, a father of three sons who all attend Silver Fern. I was born and raised in Roi-et. I spent my University years in Bangkok and abroad in the US.
After a few years of work in Bangkok, I moved to Roi-et, running a family business.I am very proud to be a part of the School Board. I will do my best to reflect the parent’s voice.



Dr. Sunchai Hancumpai

Hello!  My name is Dr. Sunchai Hamcumpai. I am a native resident of the Roi-Et province. Currently, I am a faculty member working for Roi-Et Rajabhat University teaching English.  I am so proud to serve my local community in developing education. Following time spent in the USA, I went back in 2009 for a doctoral degree at Texas A&M University. Over five years, my family and I had such a wonderful experiencewith the international community. Both the Thai and international values from Silver Fern International School will contribute to our children’s future perfectly.

Peraphan Chailkanalukkoon (Benz)

Bachelor of Education in Law, Dhurakij Pundit University
I am a member of the Roi-Et Municipality. My current job is at Tanet Motor in Roi-Et. I am very proud to be on the school board and I will do the best that I can.

Andrew Baldwin

Hi, I am Andrew (Andy) Baldwin and together with my wife and three boys we shifted from New Zealand to Thailand at the end of 2014 to work with a not-for-profit organization in the Kalasin province. I have previously held positions in the government, university and not-for-profit sectors. We continue to live and work in Kalasin but feel very fortunate that our boys are able to attend Silver Fern International School. We look forward to being a part of the Silver Fern community for many years to come.


Asst. Prof. Dr. Ladawan Wattanaboot 

I am very glad to introduce myself. I am Asst. Prof. Dr. Ladawan Wattanaboot.
I gained my B.Ed. in English and earned my M.Ed. in English at Srinakharinwirot University, Maha Sarakham Campus. I was granted a scholarship from the Rajabhat Institute Council and the Ministry of University Affairs for my doctoral degree and received my Ph.D. in Language Education at Edith Cowan University, Australia.
I am currently the director of International Relations and International Education Office in Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University. I have been invited as a guest speaker in conferences and seminars on English Teaching Techniques and have trained short courses in English for Communication.
I would like to thank Silver Fern International School for giving me this wonderful opportunity. I am very excited to work with all of you. Thank you very much.
