For many years education has been of paramount importance in my family. I can recall my grandfather spending time playing and discussing things with me. I now know he was doing what many great teachers do – creating ‘Wonderment and Awe’ in young minds. Both my parents worked in education instilling in myself and my siblings the need to take ownership and be responsible for their own futures. I decided after living in New Zealand, that the most beneficial way to help the community I grew up in was to build a school.
By educating our children using modern teaching methods and ideologies, we will be equipping them to be competitive in an increasingly global world. Exposing them to different cultures and languages we will create a generation of young citizens who will be confident to tackle the ever increasing demands of a fast and ever changing world.
