Songkran12 April, 2018
The Songkran celebration is rich with symbolic traditions. It is a great opportunity for family members to get together. The elders will take turns to wish the youngsters good luck and prosperity, making it a family day.
Silver Fern celebrated Songkran Appreciation on Thursday 12th of April 2018, which is the last day of the term and Family Day (from 8.20am – 9.20am). We expressed our respect to our elders by pouring scented water onto our parents’, grandparents’ and teachers’ hands.
Our family members were cordially invited to join our celebration. It was a very special part of the festival.
Our students danced their Thai dance they had been practicing with Kru Woody and Kru Nueng for the past two weeks. Thank you for joining us.
